Culinary Supervisor - State Farm Arena

Levy Sector Culinary Supervisor - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour. This is not tipped position. Schedule: Event Based – Part Time Schedule. Afternoon, nights, and weekends availability preferred. All Hawks home games and some holidays. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in high-volume or upscale environments. Basic understanding of culinary techniques including grilling, sauteing, roasting, and knife skills. Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures. Qualifications Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and prep list accurately Understand of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment Excellent time management and communication skills Basic knowledge of food prep, plating, kitchen safety, and sanitation Strong work ethic, organization, and attention to detail Willingness to grow into a leadership role; prior supervisor experience is a plus Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds Job Summary Summary: Directly supervises food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems. Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages. Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use. Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste. Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply. Operates food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures. Helps serves meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback. Performs other duties as assigned. Apply to Levy today!
