Job Summary The primary objective of this position is to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, safe, effective, and cost‑effective nursing care for patients across the age continuum. Under minimum supervision, the nurse directs and provides professional care for an assigned group of patients from 4 weeks to geriatric age. The role utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and may provide supervision and guidance to other team members. In the absence of the manager, the nurse may authorize decisions affecting the inpatient unit.
