Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Maintenance Technician to install and maintain machinery and equipment in an industrial establishment. Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour + $4.00 shift premium + $4,000 sign‑on bonus. Schedule & Shift: Monday – Friday (5 days × 8 hours), 2:00PM – 10:00PM. Responsibilities Ensure safe operation of machines and tools. Live and promote Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles. Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Dismantle machines. Move machinery and equipment. Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails. Align machines and equipment. Assemble machines, bond, weld, rivet or otherwise fasten them to structures. Repair and lubricate machines and equipment. Complete preventive and total productive maintenance. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum two years of industry experience and/or training. Strong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficient with basic arithmetic, rate, ratio, percent, and graph interpretation. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Work Environment Frequent walking, sitting, and using hands to handle or feel. Lift up to 10pounds frequently and 50pounds occasionally. Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
