Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to perform complex laboratory testing, analyze and report results, maintain laboratory instrumentation, and support quality, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This role also assists with workflow management, staff training, and operational excellence within the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory testing and report accurate results.
• Conduct quality control, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff; serve as a preceptor when needed.
• Support workflow monitoring, inventory management, and inspection readiness.
• Assist with evaluating new testing methods, equipment, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, or related field.
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with laboratory systems and Microsoft Office.
• Professional laboratory certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) preferred.
• State licensure as required by applicable regulations.
