Substitute Nurse

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse License
• CPR/AED Certificate
• Substitute Nursing Certificate
• Criminal History Record Check: approval date must be within five months of the application date with "Substitute Nurse" as the job position.

Rate of Pay:

• $210 - Full Day
• $125 - Half Day

Employees of the Morris School District hired after the effective date who do not reside in the State of New Jersey at the time of hire have one year from the effective date of employment to relocate their primary residence to New Jersey. Employees of the school district hired prior to the September 1, 2011, effective date of this Act are grandfathered and are not required to relocate to New Jersey. Earned Sick Leave: You accrue 1 hour of earned sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. For example, if you work 40 hours a week, you will earn 5.33 hours of earned sick leave in 4 weeks.
