Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Services in Swedesboro NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a retail distribution location you will serve as a welcoming professional presence while supporting access control visitor check-in and security-related communications. You will help maintain an organized front desk environment respond to inquiries and report unusual activity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and delivery personnel at a front desk within a retail distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors verifying identification and/or authorization issuing visitor credentials and maintaining required entry records.
• Receive and direct phone calls deliveries and inquiries in a professional manner while communicating relevant information to site personnel.
• Monitor entry areas alarms cameras and other assigned systems and report unusual activity or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
