Pay: $21-$26/hour
#2931ST Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe and Milling Machine Operator/Set-Up Machinist to join their growing team. Candidates must have hands-on HAAS CNC machine experience and the ability to set up, operate, and produce high-quality precision parts. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate HAAS CNC lathes and milling machines according to job specifications
- Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed
- Edit and optimize CNC programs (manual code experience a plus)
- Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent production and quality
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting
- Required: Previous HAAS CNC machine experience
- Experience with CNC lathe and milling machine setup and operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and machine adjustments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Manufacturing experience with a focus on safety and precision
