Topping out, precast, tilt-up, design-build: you either know it or you look it up. Responsibilities Note: This section consolidates the responsibilities described across the original posting. Promote MKTG 360o Services: Actively learn about Abbott’s portfolio, services, and market needs through reading past proposals, training opportunities, discussions with peers, BD partners, etc. Provide marketing support to key initiatives through creation of deliverables focused on technical capabilities and benefits. Coordinate development of non-proposal materials (brochures, presentations) ensuring consistency of message and adherence to established quality and brand standards. Apply knowledge of Abbott’s overall service offerings including strategic initiatives. Capture Planning and Proposal Development: Support and lead pursuit teams to advance our positioning and deliver proposals that resonate with clients. Coordinate all aspects of pursuits including team coordination, messaging, formatting, proofreading, graphics coordination, editing, quality reviews, compliance, brand adherence, and production. Contribute to content development for proposals and collateral under supervision. Support action planning and progress tracking. Conduct research to identify best Abbott qualifications and competitor information. Maintain and Leverage Marketing Information: Respond to information requests and client research assistance. Help create and maintain organized, up-to-date qualifications statements, project descriptions, and resumes. This work includes writing, researching, and editing. Manage proposal breakdowns and updates to Cosential and share new content via AdobeCC or boilerplate library. Differentiators: Develop proficiency creating proposals and other sales/marketing deliverables; build reputation for high customer service; adopt best practices; seek input and development opportunities; support compliance with Abbott’s capture planning; pursue progression opportunities based on experience and demonstrated ability to contribute. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 3–5 years of experience in proposal and presentation planning and coordination, page layout, tailored content drafting, graphics development, and editing. AEC industry experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with emphasis on persuasive writing and presentations; experience coaching others in interviews/presentations preferred. Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and MS Office (PowerPoint). The full salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. This position is eligible for a target bonus.
