Job Summary This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. The role provides direct clinical patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per‑shift basis and at the unit level. It supervises staff, supports the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintains staff competence, and manages resources related to patient care. Responsibilities The RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient at an optimum level of care. The RN coordinates and plans patient care within the prescribed medical regime, administers all medications safely and timely, fulfills all HICS responsibilities, and knows the hospital’s emergency codes, adhering to hospital policies for each code. Qualifications Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing. Experience Preferred: Recent acute care experience. Certifications Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.
