Safety Ambassador Supervisor

Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Greater Bay Area

Salary Range: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour

Schedule: Open availability required (including weekends and holidays)

About the Role:

Diligence Security Group is seeking an experienced and energetic Safety Ambassador Supervisor to lead our team of ambassadors in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment across educational and public settings. This position requires a hands-on leader with excellent communication, customer service, and technology skills who can supervise field operations and interact positively with students, staff, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of Safety Ambassadors

Maintain a visible, professional security presence across campuses and community areas

Ensure team adherence to site protocols, safety procedures, and post orders

Conduct inspections and evaluations of ambassador performance

Serve as point of contact for school officials, clients, and the public

Respond promptly to incidents, provide support, and generate detailed reports

Assist in training, scheduling, and conflict resolution

Administer or supervise Narcan deployment in the event of an opioid-related emergency

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience, ideally in a security or community safety setting

Experience working in educational environments and engaging with the public

Valid BSIS Guard Card

Valid Driver's License

CPR/First Aid Certification (required); Active Shooter and De-escalation training (preferred)

Strong communication, customer service, and technology skills

Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and work in indoor/outdoor conditions

Open availability for various shifts and emergency response

Education:

High school diploma or GED required

Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or a related field preferred
