Fullstack Developer

Appstem is growing and looking for a talented backend developer to work in our San Francisco office full-time. Applicants must have backend development experience. Our engineers enjoy our flexible work environment and don`t work long hours to make up for unrealistic deadlines. Our average project length is 2-4 months giving you the opportunity to constantly work on new exciting projects. We`re also partners with leading mobile technology companies, giving you the ability to learn and stay current on the latest and greatest technologies.
About The Role
We`re looking for a talented backend developer to work with us full-time in our San Francisco office, located in the Financial District. Are you the type of person that loves to program, whose passion is reflected in their work, and who doesn`t want to be micro-managed. Candidates must have backend development experience.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Backend development experience
- Experience with API and Database Development
- Experience with Node.js
- Database development experience (preferably SQL and/or Mongo)
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, etc
- Must have published work to show (professional work - not including course work)
- Fundamental knowledge of remote API integration
- Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
NICE EXTRAS
- Experience with Google Firebase
- Full stack development experience
- MEAN or MERN Stack experience
- Computer Science or related engineering degree
