Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting within an acute care facility
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed to support staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility protocols, dress code standards, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid California RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Willingness to float between sister facilities as required by the assignment
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (references may include Charge RNs or Leads)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travel nurse candidates are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with acute care facility environments and associated perioperative protocols
• Flexibility with variable shift scheduling
