In short, We Enable PossibilitySM.**Job Description**The Pricing Analyst assists in all aspects of analysis, pricing strategy, and automation. This includes assisting with analysis of structured pricing proposals, reinsurance, reporting, and introducing creative ways to look at pricing.**Responsibilities*** Assists in the development of monthly pricing review materials.* Develops, maintains, and improves pricing instruments.* Investigates and resolves pricing questions from internal and external customers.* Reviews data consistency and integrity.* Develops understanding of the relevant financial markets by keeping abreast of industry and economic analysis, financial risk management techniques, and participating in system-specific training.* Regularly seeks and identifies ways to enhance the product and provide value-added consultation to management. Helps identify and develop creative ways to analyze pricing.* Develops and implements documentation and training materials to enhance self-sufficiency for users of the department’s resources, analytics, and reports**Knowledge & Skills*** General knowledge of quantitative methods and product pricing methodologies in the financial services industries, including discounted cash flow methodology and modern portfolio theory.* Strong mathematical and statistical skills* Fully proficient with MS Office products, especially Excel.* Good attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving ability.* General understanding of mortgage lending pricing.* Good communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with interdepartmental contacts.* Ability to synthesize various identifiable factors and understand their impact on pricing.* Strong time management skills.**Preferred Knowledge/Skill*** Proficient with SAS and Python.* Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI**Education & Experience**Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of related experience or master’s degree in a related field with some work experience.Arch is committed to helping employees succeed through our comprehensive benefits package that includes multiple medical plans plus dental, vision and prescription drug coverage; a competitive 401k with generous matching; PTO beginning at 20 days per year; up to 12 paid company holidays per year plus 2 paid days of Volunteer Time Offer; basic Life and AD&D Insurance as well as Short and Long-Term Disability; Paid Parental Leave of up to 10 weeks; Student Loan Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement, Backup Child and Elder Care; and more.
