Server/Bartender

As a Server at Sushi Den / Izakaya Den, you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Essential Functions :

• Maintain and support a positive, collaborative culture within the organization, fully embracing the cultural and values statements espoused by Hiro & CO.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and co-workers.
• Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to guests, aligning with restaurant standards of excellence.
• Perform necessary tasks to provide attentive and personalized service to guests, creating a positive dining experience.
• Take and accurately fulfill food and drink orders, contributing to a seamless dining process.
• Assist in maintaining the guests' dining area in a clean and orderly manner, pre-busing tables to ensure a clutter-free environment.
• Work in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner, adhering to all health and safety regulations to guarantee a hygienic dining experience.
• Continuously monitor guests' needs, promptly fulfilling requests while adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other restaurant personnel, assisting with maintenance tasks, side work, and opening/closing duties as necessary.
• Anticipate guests' needs, demonstrating attentiveness and proactive service.
• Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions, staying informed about updates and enhancements.
• Utilize the point-of-sale system accurately, providing precise pricing information, processing payments, and accounting for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedures.
• Solve practical problems and effectively address a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Education :

• High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience :

• At least 5 years of serving in fine dining restaurants

Physical Demands :

• This position involves walking or standing for prolonged periods during restaurant operations.
• Stooping/Kneeling: Occasional stooping and kneeling.
• Lifting: Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
• Fingering/Grasping: Utilization of fingers for writing, typing, and phone system use.
