Thrive Here.**Additional Job Description:****Physician | General Hematologist/Oncologist | Berkeley Medical Center****West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department Medical Oncology** seek a **General Hematologist/Oncologist** (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in **Martinsburg, West Virginia.****Duties:** The successful candidate will practice in the areas of **Hematology/Oncology**. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows**.****Qualifications:** Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed **Internal Medicine** residency program, as well as **Hematology/Oncology** fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in **Hematology and Medical Oncology.** All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.**Information on the department/practice**The WVU Cancer Institute was recently named one of the top cancer hospitals by *Newsweek* and provides care to more than 125,000 patients each year.
