Global Multi Strategy Asset Manager (NYC) with over $80B of AUM
JOB TITLE
Execution Trader
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute trades across commodities, FX, volatility, and listed futures in close partnership with portfolio managers and quantitative researchers
- Develop liquidity and implementation strategies using live market data, counterparty pricing, and broker activity
- Monitor execution quality against benchmarks; analyze slippage trends to continuously improve trading outcomes
- Manage trade booking, position tracking, and operational accuracy across the portfolio management system
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, brokers, and market makers
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of buy-side execution experience; macro or CTA background strongly preferred
- Hands-on trading fluency across futures, FX, commodities, and volatility instruments
- Familiarity with institutional execution platforms — Bloomberg EMSX, FXGO, FIT, or equivalent
- Sharp analytical skills with the ability to translate market data into execution decisions under pressure
- Degree from a leading university; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required, programming skills a plus
