Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $19.85hr - $21.26hrRequirement/Must Have:Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.Keyboard/data entry experience is required.Responsibilities:Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintain required records and documentation.Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.Nice to Have:Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred.One+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.Skills:Phlebotomy.Specimen Collection.Specimen Processing.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Data Entry.Clinical Documentation.Qualification And Education:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Minimum of 6 months of experience is required.
