Emergency Department RNWe are seeking an Emergency Department RN, also referred to as an Emergency Room RN (ER RN) or Emergency Services RN (ES-RN). The Emergency Department RN provides rapid and skilled care to patients who arrive at the hospital seeking emergency medical attention. The ER Nurses are skilled professionals who play a critical role in delivering emergent and urgent care to patients in the emergency department.If you have experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiac Care, Telemetry or Emergency Department, you are encouraged to apply!ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Assess patients upon arrival to determine the severity of their condition and prioritize care accordingly, follow standardized triage protocols to quickly identify patients who require immediate attention due to life-threatening conditionsProvide direct care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries which may involve administering medications, performing procedures such as wound care or splinting, monitoring vital signs, and managing painIn cases of severe illness or trauma, you may assist with stabilizing patients and initiating life-saving interventions, this can include advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and trauma careManage high-stress and rapidly changing situations effectively. remain calm, focused, and decisive while providing care to multiple patients simultaneously during busy shifts or mass casualty eventsEducate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructionsQualificationsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
