Job Summary
MRI Technologist, MRI This position performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a hospital-based setting. The role requires advanced MRI experience, professional certifications, Washington licensure, and participation in scheduled call coverage.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Washington state license in hand; required experience in Level II trauma and community hospital settings; travel experience; proficiency with Electronic Medical Records charting; demonstrated competency in magnetic resonance imaging procedures, contrast administration, radiation safety, peripheral intravenous access, trauma imaging, and adult acute care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Level I trauma settings.
- Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., totaling 36 hours per week; call coverage is required once weekly on Saturdays.
- Additional Information: Patient ratios are approximately 2:1. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, with a daily census of approximately 1015 patients. The role utilizes Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Siemens equipment, contrast injection systems, and intravenous pumps.
