Job Title: MFM Diagnostic Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech Client Fetal Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 4x8 Hours (07:00 - 15:30); 4x8 Hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active Minnesota License Required Certifications: BLS, RVT, ARDMS Abdomen, Client, Peds, or MSK Required Must-Have: - Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program or Associate of Applied Science Degree - ARDMS Credentialed in Abdomen, Client, Pediatric, or MSK Required (Multiple ARDMS specialties preferred) - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Required - Vascular Experience Required - Arterial Ultrasounds to include bypass grafts and stents Experience Required Description: The position is for a MFM Diagnostic Sonographer. The role will involve floating between two facilities. The shift is 4x8 days, amounting to 32 hours per week. Shift start times may vary between 7:00, 7:15, and 7:30 AM. Shift end times may vary between 3:30, 3:45, and 4:00 PM. Weekend requirements include working approximately one weekend every 4 to 6 weeks. On-call duty is not required. The daily caseload per tech can average 45 visits. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time applicants are not accepted. Pending state licenses are not accepted. Certifications required include BLS, RVT, and ARDMS in Abdomen, Client, Peds, or MSK. Candidates must float within their scope to meet facility needs, depending on demand. Local candidates cannot be within 50 miles of either facility. Requests for time off must be specified at the time of submission and are limited to a maximum of 10 days. No time off is allowed within the first week of the assignment. The facilities have total staffed beds of 0 and 479, respectively. The scrub color for ultrasound techs is navy blue. Charting will be done using Epic. Candidates should be prepared to work holidays as needed by the facility. Laboratory work must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. All applicants are required to complete Livescan fingerprinting as stipulated by state law. This requirement is applicable to all candidates regardless of their residency.
