Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' mobility, strength, and overall physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing individual patient goals and enhancing recovery outcomes.
• Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to relieve pain, increase strength, and improve functionality.
• Provide education to patients regarding proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and responses to treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and conditions such as arthritis. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; an advanced degree, such as a Doctor or Master of Physical Therapy (DPT/MPT), is preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical experience of at least two years in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
