Job Description

Job Description

At Cannabis & Glass, we're passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our customers through exceptional service and accessible cannabis products. As the largest recreational dispensary chain in Eastern Washington and Oregon — with locations in North Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, and Ontario — we take pride in offering the region's best cannabis prices and widest selection.

Joining our team means working alongside some of the most experienced leaders in the industry, in an organization that consistently ranks among the highest-performing cannabis retailers in the region. We offer diverse opportunities for professional growth, and we're looking for people who take pride in their work, move with purpose, and thrive in fast-changing environments.

About the Role

At Cannabis & Glass, our Assistant Managers are operational leaders who set the tone for their teams every single shift. You'll partner with the General Manager to drive store performance, develop staff, and deliver an exceptional customer experience in one of the most dynamic retail environments in the industry.

This is a role for someone who holds themselves and their team to a high standard — and who wants to grow with a company that rewards performance and builds future leaders.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily store operations including compliance, cleanliness, and team execution
• Manage and reconcile all cash operations — vault, registers, pickups, and EOD reports
• Oversee end-to-end inventory control including receiving, audits, adjustments, and vendor returns
• Coach and develop employees to deliver best-in-class customer service and meet sales goals
• Execute promotions, merchandising plans, and online/kiosk order management
• Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure positive resolutions
• Partner with corporate departments on procurement, HR, and marketing initiatives
• Maintain schedule flexibility, reliability, and professional leadership standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality leadership experience; cannabis experience a plus
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of up to 25 employees per shift
• Familiarity with POS, kiosk, or order management systems
• Strong cash handling, reporting, and KPI tracking capabilities
• Calm under pressure with strong conflict resolution skills
• Highly reliable, hands-on, and customer-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must be 21+ and meet all Oregon state requirements for cannabis industry employment
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must pass a background check per Oregon state regulations

Compensation & Benefits

• $21.51/hour
• Bonus incentives program
• 50% employee discount on smokable cannabis products
• Exclusive discounts from top national retailers
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k)
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP) — free to all employees
• Paid Sick Leave (PSL) and Personal Time Off (PTO)
• Holiday pay at 1.5x for shifts worked on: New Year's Day, 4/20, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
