Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Valid State Interpreter License in ASL (American Sign Language)
• Preference given to candidates with Spanish language skills; proficiency in Multiple Signed Language (MSL) highly valued
• Previous experience working within school settings or providing 1:1 support to students
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Professionalism, reliability, and adaptability for a classroom environment
• Bilingual capability strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide daily, onsite 1:1 interpreting services for a middle school student
• Accurately interpret in academic classes and school-related activities
• Collaborate with educators and staff to foster an inclusive learning experience
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Ensure clear and effective communication at all times between the student, peers, and staff
