Kelly is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Coating Technician for a long-term opportunity in Coppell, Texas ! This role is on 2nd Shift (3:30 pm – 12:00 am) and pays $18.00 - $21.00/hour.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Applying by dipping or pouring a catalytic WashCoat (looks like a paint- but water based) to a substrate.
  • Substrates can be ceramic or metallic
  • Same size shape or larger, as per a normal auto catalytic converter
• Recording weights (typing numbers into a field in a database)
• Packing coated substrates into a batching oven
• Packing coated and heat-treated substrates onto a pallet
• Ancillary functions:
  • Laser etching codes on side of coated substrate
  • Applying an insulation tape on the perimeter of a coated substrate.
  • Maintain Coating Stations and Equipment Clean
• No powder coatings or any other type of highly specialized coating necessary.
• Very manual labor, a person in this function needs to be able to lift 50lbs

Education and/or Experience REQUIRED

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience working with chemicals a plus
• Computer skills a plus
• Forklift experience a plus
