MONGODB DEVELOPER/ADMIN

Responsibilities Apply principles and theories from Information Systems Technology or Computer Science to design and develop software solutions. Identify business needs and design technical specifications for integrations, reporting, and data maintenance in MongoDB instances. Configure, implement, and support high availability (replication) with load‑balanced MongoDB clusters that contain terabytes of data. Write complex MongoDB aggregation queries to pull detailed reports. Analyze and explain query plans, and create necessary indexes to boost performance. Work with Ops Manager to evaluate MongoDB performance, build and deploy new instances, perform post‑release support and monitoring. Deploy backup and restore strategies using Ops Manager and perform automation tasks via Ops Manager. Plan capacity, tune MongoDB, and handle authentication and authorization for various applications. Optimize CRUD operations and set up profiling to detect slow queries and recommend mitigation measures. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve live MongoDB issues while assisting development teams with MongoDB design principles. Tune performance and indexing strategies for large datasets and review long‑running logs on a daily basis. Conduct query optimization, understand query plans, and design cache filters for better performance while considering storage optimization for small documents. Add or remove replica nodes in the MongoDB cluster as required. Collaborate with business and development representatives to identify key feature characteristics, develop test strategies, and design tests that validate intended data and analytic operations. Handle bulk write operation jobs, analyze the queries, and tune performance based on environment. Size the oplog based on workloads and maintain proper replication across all nodes.
