Requirements Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements. Must possess independent decision‑making skills. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families. At least 2 years of SLP experience. Desired Skills Candidates should possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail, strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, be compassionate and sensitive, a critical thinker, and quick to act in emergencies. Responsibilities Provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment for patients from pediatric to older adults. Help patients recover and feel better by maximizing speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges to patient records. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.
