As an Operation Program Manager – Level 3 located in Oxnard, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This is a highly dynamic, interactive position. You will interact with numerous stakeholders including program management, systems engineering, flight hardware design engineers and logistical support services. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills are required to succeed in this role.In this job, you will:Creates and fosters a "One-team" approach working closely with value-stream leaders to ensure day-to-day activities achieve customer mission requirements, on-time and on-budgetServes as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for manufacturing and operations on the program; responsible for measuring and reporting program performanceAccountable for cost and schedule performance; creates and communicates the manufacturing and operations plan and schedule for all assembly, integration, and testing activitiesRepresents manufacturing and operations on the risk board, and responsible for managing risk and opportunitiesIdentifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning in close collaboration with the value-stream functional leadersLeads and coordinates mechanical, electrical, radio frequency, harness and quality assurance resources and activities on a given vehicle/programCoordinates shared facility utilization for Test Planning (I&T bay, EMI Chamber, Structural Test Lab, TVAC Chamber, Mass Properties table)Other duties as assignedIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s of Science degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience No clearance required to startExperience working within multi-disciplinary organizationsExcellent written and oral communications skills and technical presentation experienceExpertise with CAM and Project Management roles & responsibilitiesExpertise leading technical projects Preferred Qualifications: Experience working proposals and providing proposal inputs (pricing, basis of estimates, schedule, technical content)Extensive experience within manufacturing, Integration & Test, and deployablesExperience leading cross-functional organizationsDemonstrated experience in ERP, MES, Lean Manufacturing and/or 5S type programsAs a leader with integrity, you ensure ethical conduct, balanced results, and partner satisfaction. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
