About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Research & Clinical Affairs to lead the management and oversight of its clinical trial network and biotech and pharma partnerships. This role is pivotal in the transition of the company's research assets into commercial partnerships and requires a highly visible leader with a strong background in clinical research operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for retaining and growing the clinical trial network, delivering on member agreements, and ensuring the commercial and operational success of the therapeutics engine. Essential functions include managing CTN member relationships, designing and delivering customized programs, accelerating patient recruitment, and leading trial-ready operations. The VP will also be accountable for team leadership, registry and biospecimen management, and ensuring compliance with commercial, financial, and regulatory standards. Applicants for the VP, Research & Clinical Affairs position at the company must have a Master's degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline, with a preference for an advanced degree. A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in pharma, biotech, and/or CRO clinical-research operations is required, along with a proven track record in commercial or partnership relationships. The role demands strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple high-stakes priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience in rare or vascular disease settings, working with CRO partners, and a background in consortium or clinical network management. The VP will be the external representative for therapeutic partnerships, including in regulatory-advocacy contexts, and must be prepared to travel as necessary.
