Job Summary Basilio validates offers with data before a dollar is spent, screening markets, products, and demand so clients launch into winnable positions. As a Product Validation Analyst at Basilio Inc, you pressure-test a specific product or SKU before it goes into production or launch. You sit inside the Research & Validation team, own your results, and are measured on what you move, not hours logged. Basilio Inc is a growth and marketing company that builds and runs brands across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and the open web. We hire operators, train them on proven systems, and give them real accounts to run. This is a remote-first, outcome-owned role for someone who wants to do the best work of their career on brands that are actually scaling. What You Will Own Validate product ideas against true cost of acquisition, supplier cost, and margin at scale Model unit economics from landed cost to break-even ad spend Flag compliance, IP, and gating risks before a client commits capital Recommend the launch budget tier and the first ninety day plan Keep research methods and data sources current as markets and platforms shift Document findings in clear briefs the strategy and delivery teams can act on fast Pressure-test your own assumptions and show the math behind every call A Typical Week Move your core metrics: margin accuracy vs actuals at launch and share of validated skus that stay profitable Hands-on execution in Helium 10, Keepa, Data Dive Sync with the strategy, creative, and marketplace teams and report progress What Success Looks Like First 30 to 60 days: you are fully ramped on your accounts and tools and already moving margin accuracy vs actuals at launch Ongoing: you consistently hit target on margin accuracy vs actuals at launch and share of validated skus that stay profitable You leave every account, campaign, or project measurably better than you found it Competencies Rigor with unit economics and landed-cost math Instinct for hidden risk in a product line AI fluency: strong prompting and sound judgment on when to trust or override a model (required) Ownership: you run your lane end to end and are measured on the outcome Clear, direct written and verbal communication Comfort working in a fast, data-driven, remote-first team Discipline with process, deadlines, and documentation Coachability: you take feedback and turn it into better work fast Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. You report to your department lead and partner directly with account teams and, where the role calls for it, clients. Working With AI (Required) AI experience is required for this role. You are fluent with ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), comfortable running models through OpenRouter and open models such as Qwen, and you write clear, effective prompts. Most of the work at Basilio Inc is AI-augmented, so you use AI to work faster and sharper every day while owning the judgment, accuracy, and final result yourself. Use AI to accelerate research and validation: pulling and cleaning data, summarizing competitor and market signals, and drafting first-pass models. You are expected to verify every AI output against primary sources and own the final call yourself. This role also works with the advanced stack: routing between models through OpenRouter, including Aux Alpha (an OpenRouter-routed model) and Qwen, choosing the right model for each task, and orchestrating multi-step, AI-assisted and agentic workflows. You understand the purpose and tradeoffs of each model and can build and supervise AI systems, not just single prompts.
