The Staff Accountant is an individual who demonstrates strong initiative, integrity, and accountability. They work as a member of the accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of cash and complete other responsibilities as assigned. The position will:Protect the moral, legal, and financial assets and wellbeing of the company.Exemplify the company values of Stewardship, Integrity, Hard Work, and ServiceStrive to achieve the company's mission of Enriching Lives and the company's vision of being the best place in town to work and do business.Reconcile credit card statements with accounting records and bank depositsResearch credit card disputes and recommend appropriate actionEvaluate and verify daily theatre sales data for accuracyRecord Megaplex Store sales and inventory countsSubmit Gratis reports monthly to LHMCOCompile and submit Swig Royalty Report monthlyCollaborate with other members of the accounting teamAssist with month end close processOther duties as assignedWe want to give our guests and partners the best experience possible. We believe you have what it takes to make a great impact!2+ years related experience in general accounting preferredBachelor's degree in accounting preferredOrganized, with excellent attention to detailGreat communication skillsCan-Do attitude; willing to assist with any taskSkilled problem analysis, problem solving, and decision-making abilitiesPlan and prioritize work to meet commitments and align with organizational goalsAbility to communicate effectively with staff, management and ownership.Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and accounting softwareMust have the ability to complete assignments by deadlines in an accurate and timely mannerMust have the ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum directionMust be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screeningWe aim to hire at a level that allows for meaningful salary growth as you thrive in your role.
