\n \n \nAbout the Role
\n \n \nWe’re looking for a bilingual Pharmacy Clerk who is organized, patient-focused, and eager to be part of a clinical environment where every interaction matters. This is more than a front-counter role. You’ll work closely with our pharmacists, clinical staff, and external partners to keep patient care moving smoothly — and you’ll have real opportunity to grow within the pharmacy.
\n \n \nResponsibilities
\n \n \n- \n
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, prescribers, and insurance representatives — in both English and a second language \n
- Handle incoming and outbound calls with professionalism, including prior authorization follow-ups, refill coordination, and patient status updates \n
- Process and verify patient information, specialty medications, and prescription orders with a high degree of accuracy \n
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions and reconcile beginning and end-of-day reports \n
- Coordinate specialty medication deliveries and ensure proper handling documentation \n
- Liaise with insurance companies, case managers, and specialty hubs to resolve coverage and benefits issues \n
- Identify workflow issues and escalate or resolve them proactively \n
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks and maintain compliance with specialty pharmacy standards \n
- Represent New Lots Pharmacy’s values in every patient and partner interaction \n
Qualifications
\n \n \n- \n
- Bilingual — fluency in English and Spanish (or another language) required \n
Required Skills
\n \n \n- \n
- Strong customer service skills with a compassionate, patient-first attitude \n
- Prior pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare administrative experience preferred \n
- Comfortable managing high call volume and multiple priorities without losing attention to detail \n
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and insurance/prior authorization processes is a plus \n
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player \n
