The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare standards.Schedule & FlexibilityPart-time position averaging 20–30 hours per weekMonday–Friday schedule preferredFlexible daytime working hoursOccasional evening or weekend availability may be requiredRemote opportunities available for qualified candidatesKey ResponsibilitiesReview and audit medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Conduct quality assurance reviews and identify discrepancies or areas requiring correction.Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and sensitive healthcare records.Prepare accurate reports and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.Monitor compliance with applicable healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations.Utilize Microsoft Office and healthcare software to maintain records, track findings, and manage documentation.Identify opportunities for process improvements and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.Work independently to manage assigned tasks and meet established deadlines.Perform additional administrative and quality assurance duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious experience in medical quality assurance, medical records, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Ability to quickly learn new technology, software, and healthcare systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Knowledge of medical terminology and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems is a plus.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
