Job Summary Seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Part-Time Catering Clerk to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in creating positive experiences for our catering customers by assisting with order preparation, maintaining high standards for product quality, and providing exceptional service. - Customer Service : Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with catering orders, including answering questions, taking orders accurately, and offering product recommendations.
- Order Preparation : Assist in preparing and packaging catering orders in accordance with company standards, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Food Safety and Quality : Follow food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness, product quality, and presentation in the catering department.
- Inventory and Restocking : Monitor product levels and help restock supplies and ingredients as needed, ensuring the work area is organized and well-stocked.
- Team Collaboration : Work with other catering and deli team members to fulfill large or complex orders on time.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records for all catering orders, including order details and special instructions, to ensure a seamless process from order to delivery.
- General Support : Assist with other tasks within the catering and deli departments as needed, such as cleaning and organizing workspaces.
- Experience : Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
- Skills : Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Availability : Flexible schedule, with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
