Patient Care CoordinatorUpperline Health is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and driven Patient Care Coordinator to support our physicians and care teams in delivering an outstanding patient experience. This role is primarily based in our Bel Air clinic and serves as a key connection between patients and providers. Patient Care Coordinators play an essential role in ensuring patients feel welcomed, informed, and prepared for their visits. This position is ideal for individuals who value meaningful work, enjoy helping others, and want to grow within a stable healthcare organization.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the front desk representative, answering phones and greeting patients warmlyEnsure accurate and timely patient check-in and information collectionAssist with appointment scheduling and patient inquiriesMaintain on-time clinic flow by notifying providers of patient arrivalsRetrieve, scan, update, and maintain patient records in the EMR (athenahealth)Collect patient payments and assist with billing-related questionsManage office supply inventory and maintain an organized front officeProtect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all timesSupport clinic operations with additional duties as neededTravel to nearby clinics to provide additional support when requiredQualifications:Experience in a front-office, customer service, or healthcare clinic role preferredPrior podiatric or orthopedic practice experience preferredMedical billing and coding experience highly preferredExperience using an EMR system; athenahealth preferredStrong communication skills and professional presenceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExceptional customer service and patient-first mindsetReliable transportation requiredWho Will Thrive in This Role?This role is well suited for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and enjoy being on the frontline of patient engagement.
