Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs comprehensively and develop individualized therapy plans aimed at facilitating their functional goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based strategies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functioning, and daily living activities.
  • Engage in Team Collaboration: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic and well-rounded care to every patient.
  • Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families on therapy practices to continue progress at home.
  • Track Progress and Documentation: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the right path.
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported by the team.
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is essential.
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification is required.
