This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a proven, experienced closer with a verifiable track record in oil and gas investment sales. If you have spent years building a book, presenting direct-participation opportunities, and closing high-net-worth investors, we want to talk to you.

Wheeler Resource Recovery is an independent upstream oil and gas operator based in Benbrook, Texas. We operate our own wells and offer qualified investors the opportunity to participate directly in our drilling and rework programs. Our closers work from well-researched, due-diligence-backed project information on every prospect, so you can speak to investors with confidence and close with substance.

Experience Required
• 5+ years of oil and gas investment sales: a documented history of closing working interest, joint venture, or direct-participation program sales
• Verifiable production numbers: be prepared to discuss your closing history, average ticket size, and references
• Working knowledge of upstream terminology: working interest, net revenue interest, AFEs, JOAs, intangible drilling costs, and how oil and gas tax advantages work for investors
• Experience selling to accredited and high-net-worth investors: comfortable on the phone and face-to-face with sophisticated buyers
• Strong cold-calling discipline: cold calling is required and is a core part of this role

Also Considered
Exceptional closers from adjacent investment sales backgrounds may be considered, including:
• Commercial real estate investment or syndication sales
• Alternative investments, private placements, or other investment vehicles
• Banking, lending, or financial services sales

Responsibilities
• Prospect, qualify, and close investors on company drilling and rework programs
• Present project economics, geology, and operational plans clearly and accurately
• Consult with investors on how oil and gas participation fits their goals, including the associated tax considerations
• Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales targets and deadlines
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline in our CRM with timely, accurate notes
• Set follow-up appointments and keep investors informed of project developments
• Respond to investor questions and concerns professionally and promptly
• Assist in developing and refining sales presentations and investor materials

Qualifications
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Zoho CRM experience a plus)
• Exceptional rapport-building and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and self-motivated
• Professional, compliant, and honest sales approach
• Relevant securities licenses (e.g., Series 22, 82, or 63) a plus
