Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): HUC available 7:30-4; 4 PCTs scheduled each day and assigned to specific pods. Can draw labs, do catheterizations, and transport patients

Type of equipment: standard PACU equipment

Documentation system: Cerner

Scheduling requirements: 6 week schedules at a time; 3 call shifts required within the 6 weeks

Floating policy: Float within peri-anesthesia (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II)

Patient Experience requirements:

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Hiring profile:

Requested Skill Set: Trauma experience, pediatric experience

Must have: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale experience

Advanced skills needed: ventilator monitoring

Procedures performed on unit:

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Dress Code: (Required uniform) Surgical green or navy scrubs
