Duties

• Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, masking areas, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed before application.
• Operate spray foam equipment including airless spray systems, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance for optimal performance.
• Apply spray foam insulation accurately according to project specifications, blueprints, and schematics to ensure complete coverage and adherence to building codes.
• Inspect completed work for quality control, checking for uniform application, proper adhesion, and absence of defects.
• Collaborate with construction teams such as carpenters, roofers, HVAC specialists, and masons to coordinate installation processes seamlessly.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress for reporting and quality assurance purposes.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to handling chemicals like polyurethane foam components and operating power tools safely on-site.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction site work or insulation installation is highly preferred; familiarity with spray foam application is a plus.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings to interpret project requirements accurately.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction or insulation projects.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
• Background in related trades such as carpentry, roofing, plastering, or masonry enhances understanding of building processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems or metal stud framing is advantageous for integrated project work.
• Ability to read technical documents like schematics or construction plans confidently ensures precise application of insulation materials. Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and production. Employees are paid according to their level of experience, job knowledge, work quality, and productivity. Additional production modifiers may apply based on performance, efficiency, and successful completion of project goals. Starting pay will be determined during the interview process based on qualifications and experience.
