STAFFING COORDINATOR

Responsibilities Staffing Coordinator – Full Time. Shift: Evening. Del Amo Behavioral Health System, a subsidiary of UHS, provides a safe and compassionate environment for individuals seeking recovery from emotional, psychiatric, and addiction issues, offering inpatient, outpatient and specialty programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. The Nursing Staff Coordinator (Staffing Coordinator) is responsible for ensuring all hospital units are fully staffed so that staff can properly care for patients. The Coordinator manages the shift master scheduling software system, adjusting staffing levels based on census fluctuations, call‑ins, and pre‑planned leaves of absence to maintain adequate coverage of all shifts. This role is a key contributor to the Nursing Management Team and reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred. 1‑3 years’ experience required.
