Commercial Lines Account Manager

Communicate with HUB associates, clients and carriers via phone and email regarding commercial lines policies and products Run Motor Vehicle Reports and advise clients whether employees are eligible drivers Sort, scan and process new mail items Deliver policies in the format and timeframe advised by the Client Manager Request, process and handle mid-term change requests Document communications and activities for compliance and organization Coordinate policy expirations and process renewal information Create new and renewal certificates of insurance templates in

Process complex certificates of insurance and contract reviews Process policies, cancellations and endorsements Prepare and update renewal proposals and summaries Complete policy application details for newly bound policies in Epic Follow up on cancellations and billing issues with clients and carriers Assist with claim reporting and follow-up Pursue and maintain professional insurance designations as recommended Perform other duties assigned by the Commercial Client Specialist Supervisor and/or Commercial Lines Operations Manager Requirements Prior working experience in the insurance industry or knowledge of commercial insurance and products is highly preferred Ohio Property and Casualty licensure is required, or needs to be obtained within 90 days of employment Professional designations are preferred High school diploma or equivalent is required Strong understanding and comfort using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Existing knowledge of Applied Epic is preferred Strong customer service, organization and time management skills Strong decision making and problem-solving skills 2-5 years of relevant experience Ability to travel up to 25% Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in commercial insurance processes, including policy management, compliance documentation, and client communication. Proficient in using Applied Epic and Microsoft Office tools to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
