Medical Director

Medical Director – Primary Care | Wichita, KS We’re partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization in Wichita, Kansas to find an experienced Medical Director who wants to combine patient care with meaningful clinical leadership. This is a unique opportunity for a physician who still enjoys practicing medicine but also wants a voice in shaping how care is delivered. The Medical Director will spend approximately 16 hours per week providing direct patient care , while also leading and developing a talented team of physicians and advanced practice providers. The opportunity: Provide strategic and clinical leadership for a growing primary care organization Mentor, coach and develop physicians, PAs and NPs Drive improvements in quality, patient experience and clinical outcomes Help expand services and improve access to care Partner closely with executive leadership on strategy and clinical operations Oversee provider performance, productivity and quality standards Play an important role in developing relationships with medical schools, residents and community partners Continue practicing medicine and staying connected to patients We’re looking for a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician who brings strong clinical judgment, a collaborative leadership style and a genuine desire to serve the community. Experience in an FQHC, community health center or similar mission-driven environment would be particularly valuable, but is not required.
