Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Per Diem

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Per Diem to join our team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care in Silvis, Illinois. As a COTA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our occupational therapists to develop and implement effective treatment plans, and promoting independence and well-being among our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional needs

• Provide direct patient care under the guidance of licensed occupational therapists, including but not limited to:

  • Modalities and interventions

  • Patient education and training

  • Assistance with daily living activities

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and progress reporting

• Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
