You'll be part of a team that genuinely cares about helping you succeed, and you'll work alongside talented colleagues, while making a difference in our communities.Position SummaryMeat Clerks are responsible for working in a fast-paced multi-functional environment alone or with other people in a cool/cold environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist customers when applicableMust work quickly and carefully while stocking/wrapping items at a reasonable expectancyHandle various raw meat products to wrap, price, and stock into display casesOperate meat department equipment such as auto wrapper, scale, slicer, etc.Lift and load product weighing up to 50lbsSweep, clean up, and sanitize work stations as assigned by Meat Staff leaderClean display cases and fill supplies when neededOther duties as assignedQualificationsHighly organized with a keen sense of details.Great listening and communication skills.Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.Physical DemandsThe physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.The store level varies from regular temperature to some cooler areas.Minimal sitting is required.Store hours of operation: 7am-10pm 7 days a week Starting pay is negotiable.
