Dental Front Office Assistant Dental Care of Sanford is looking for a Front Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the dental or medical field, be familiar with insurance, claims and scheduling. Practice Hours: Must be available to work 30 minutes prior/after times below. Monday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wednesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Why Heartland Dental? Join a 10 person team that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community Our practice is located at 1144 Carthage Street in Sanford NC Minimum Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment Excellent communication and organizational skills The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards. Preferred Experience 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable Dentrix or other dental software experience Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
