Senior Air-to-Air Modeling and Simulation Analyst

Description Are you passionate about analyzing air combat systems and searching for an opportunity to apply your modeling, simulation, and analysis background in an engaging, collegiate environment? Responsibilities Analyze the effectiveness and employment of airborne systems operating in complex environments using tools such as AFSIM. Develop, evaluate, and analyze tactics and concepts of employment for groundbreaking technologies such as air platforms, sensors, countermeasures, and weapons including manned‑unmanned vehicles. Work with a team of analysts and senior engineers to guide the direction of analysis. Present your work through briefings to technical specialists and pivotal decision makers. Engage in independent research projects encouraging creative solutions and rewarding initiative. Qualifications Have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related area. Have demonstrated excellence in mission‑level modeling, simulation, and analysis in the air‑to‑air domain with tools such as AFSIM or Brawler. Be skilled in conducting quantitative analysis and rapidly learning new concepts. Have strong scripting and programming skills in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or Java. Can work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and communicate sophisticated ideas directly with government civilians, military officers, and contractors. Be able to obtain the required Special Access Program (SAP) level access. Be able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by your start date and ultimately obtain a Top Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Preferred Qualifications Have a Master’s or Ph.D. in a technical field listed above. Have demonstrated excellence leading a team performing mission‑level modeling, simulation & analysis. Have an active Top‑Secret security clearance.
