English Teacher / AP Research - Grade 11 Evergreen Charter School is seeking an English 11 Teacher / AP Research for High School. Responsibilities: Support students by implementing research-based strategies to improve outcomes in English. Create a positive, structured learning environment to ensure that students observe the school’s core values and high expectations. Collaborate with fellow grade and or subject level teachers to plan instruction. Implement formative and summative assessments and analyze the data to provide further instructions. Collaborate with classroom teachers for the purpose of improving English instruction and promoting a school-based professional learning community. Demonstrate exemplary classroom literacy practice, model best practices in literacy and improve student achievement levels. Commit to professional growth, participating actively in department meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development initiatives. Participate in the extracurricular activities hosted at ECS, collaborate within the team, and meet all professional responsibilities. Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues.
