Description

The Senior Graphic Designer collaborates closely with Marketing leadership to shape and actualize a distinctive visual style and design for all marketing materials.

In partnership with Marketing leadership, the Senior Graphic Designer spearheads the creation of guidelines for a creative audit, driving innovation and fostering a cohesive brand understanding and voice. They oversee the development of marketing content across various mediums, such as print, digital, and video, ensuring brand consistency and a robust visual hierarchy.

Furthermore, the Senior Graphic Designer oversees assets in collaboration with other colleagues, ensuring alignment with ABH's brand guidelines. Their expertise lies in presenting inspiring design concepts that not only guide the design team but also translate seamlessly into captivating visuals, including mock-ups, layouts, and overall project aesthetics.

Moreover, this role actively contributes to special projects in conjunction with the studio and brand marketing team, showcasing a blend of creative prowess and technical proficiency.

Essential Job Functions

• Work with Art Director and Creative Director to develop and create an educational focused design for all projects.
• Help articulate this vision to team and approve their work
• Manage and delegate all design projects
• Develop creative briefs based on ideas from brainstorming sessions, with direction, schedules, and deliverables for the rest of the creative team/marketing team
• Work with Marketing + Studio leadership to assist with execution of design projects, including layouts, presentations and mood boards/decks to help with the overall vision for upcoming shoots/campaigns
• Obtain team approval of final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations etc. encourage members to provide feedback and respond to internal commentary and requests
• Work with Marketing + Studio leadership to oversee presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for cross-organizational use; some work may include but not limited to:

            o Style Guides

            o Brand Books

            o UI for special apps

            o Landing pages 

            o Banners 

            o Custom Mailers

            o Webcollage

            o Custom Ads 

• Conceptualize campaign vision, harnessing original graphics, copy, website content (retailers), social media, and other marketing materials, create templates and guidelines to pass on to other department heads + designers
• Ensure cohesion/unity across all brand assets
• Create guidelines for a creative audit to elevate innovation and establish a unified brand understanding and company voice
• Delegate projects to other in-house designers and oversee project ideation
• Train other graphic designers'/production artist on design skills and branding
• Collaborate with others: work with copywriters, designers, social, ecomm, studio and marketing team to decide what the general direction of campaigns. 
• Oversee assets and work with Graphic Designer to create visually engaging content.
• Create templates for Graphic designers and production artist to utilize
• Assessing project specifics and creating a final product that adheres to those requirements
• Collaborating with the design team staff to define design goals- Such as: Illustrating concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size, style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Following a product workflow and timeline to ensure projects progress in a timely manner
• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensure graphic quality, consistency, and adherence to brand DNA and aesthetic in all visual assets produced
• Manage time effectively across multiple jobs adhering to production and post-production schedules in a fast-paced environment
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
• Collaborate on special projects in close partnership with the brand marketing team, showcasing a harmonious fusion of creative flair and technical expertise as required.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of design in print, digital, and mobile mediums
• Experience with logo design, typography, color, and layout
• Proficient use of design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire others
• Passion for design and a desire to improve
• A bachelor's degree in design or a related field
• Experience in design and leadership
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of new media formats
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders
• High level of attention to detail
• Print + digital background (plus)
• Thorough knowledge of cosmetic / fashion industry
• Pristine attention to detail
• Strong layout and analytical skills
• Experience in beauty, retail, high-end fashion and luxury verticals preferred
• This position is hybrid in-office 3x a week.

• Previous experience working with multiple departments/department heads
• Strong communication skills and collaborative.

 Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting hourly rate for this position in the selected city is $85,000.00-$95,000.00. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible.
