Provide general physiatry care for patients with injury, stroke, orthopedic, or pain management needs. Perform bread-and-butter PM&R procedures, including joint injections and spasticity management with Botox or intrathecal baclofen pumps. Collaborate with internal and external specialists in neurology, orthopedics, pain, and internal medicine to optimize patient care. Ensure documentation aligns with hospital standards and is completed timely. Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient treatment plans. Respond to call responsibilities including night beeper call, with fluctuating call volume. What You Need Active California medical license and DEA registration Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (BC only) BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of inpatient PM&R experience Ability to perform basic procedures such as joint injections and spasticity management Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills About the Assignment This inpatient rehab assignment is at a well-established hospital in San Francisco, focusing on comprehensive acute care services in a multidisciplinary setting.
