Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients
- Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and serving assistance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours
- Follow all kitchen safety procedures, including knife skills and proper food handling techniques
Shifts:
8am-6pm
6pm-3am
Compensation:
$15-19/hr
Experience
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Fine dining experience or restaurant background preferred, demonstrating high standards of food quality and presentation
- Strong culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Skilled in knife techniques, food industry standards, and kitchen equipment operation
- Experience in menu planning, catering support, and serving is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
