Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term CareImmediate travel contract opportunity with our LTC facility in Lincoln, NE.Pay Rate:$44.00/hr (local candidate pay rate)$1,740/week (travel pay package if qualified)36 hours/week guaranteed2 weekends required every 6 weeksAvailable Work Schedules:6:45am - 7:15pm (Days)6:45pm - 7:15am (Nights)3x12 scheduleContract Details:13 weeks to start (with option to extend)Job Details:Provide bedside care to patients and assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily livingAssist with wound care, catheter management, and other skilled nursing proceduresAdminister prescribed medications and treatments, following facility policies and state nursing regulationsDocument care provided and resident status accurately and in a timely mannerCollaborate with RNs, CNAs, and healthcare providers to develop and follow individualized care plansEducate residents and families about medications, treatments, and disease managementSupport residents' emotional well-being, providing compassionate care and meaningful interactionsSupervise CNAs and other support staff, delegating tasks appropriatelyRecognize and report changes in patient condition to RNs and healthcare provider teamRespond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions within the LPN scope of practiceQualifications:Valid LPN LicenseMinimum of (2) recent years working as an LPNOne year of long term care experience preferred
